Alternative Current Injection Newton and Fast Decoupled Power Flow

چکیده
This article presents an alternative Newton-Raphson power flow method version. has been developed based on current injection equations formulated in polar coordinates. Likewise, the fast decoupled flow, elaborated using (BX version), is presented. These methods are tested considering electrical systems composed of 57-, 118-, and 300-bus, as well a realistic system 787-bus. For robustness analysis, simulations were performed different loading conditions R/X ratios transmission line. Based that realized, there evidence performance proposed similar to methods.

متن کاملVery Fast Load Flow Calculation Using Fast-Decoupled Reactive Power Compensation Method for Radial Active Distribution Networks in Smart Grid Environment Based on Zooming Algorithm
Distribution load flow (DLF) calculation is one of the most important tools in distribution networks. DLF tools must be able to perform fast calculations in real-time studies at the presence of distributed generators (DGs) in a smart grid environment even in conditions of change in the network topology. In this paper, a new method for DLF in radial active distribution networks is proposed. The ...
متن کاملFast Voltage and Power Flow Contingency Ranking Using Enhanced Radial Basis Function Neural Network
Deregulation of power system in recent years has changed static security assessment to the major concerns for which fast and accurate evaluation methodology is needed. Contingencies related to voltage violations and power line overloading have been responsible for power system collapse. This paper presents an enhanced radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) approach for on-line ranking of ...

متن کاملAn extension of Newton-Raphson power flow problem
This paper explores an idea to extend Newton–Raphson power flow problem to handle power system transmission line flow limits, by means of generation redispatch and phase shifters. We extend and reformulate the power flow so that it includes a variety of flow limits (thermal, small-signal stability, voltage difference), generation redispatch, and phase shifters. The novelty of the approach is th...
